Nice thick Frankonian whetstone in good quaility, so-called "sharp stone" with the typical metallic look of the outer skin that feels somehow greasy. Fast stone, you can get black slurry soon. Visible lines, layer superpositions or small crack are common for these stones. Not harmful for honing. Backside left natural skin. Thickness varies a lot.
