Mottled black thuringian hone from the late mining period in the thuringian mountains. The green variety of these hones was formerlry sold and known as "Schwedenstein". This stone was mined and sold from the company Escher&Son in the years between 1930 and 1950.

With original saw marks visible on the sides, backside left natural, smaller crack on sides, sealed.

Visible veins in the stone are not harmful.
